Students with DD, ASD, MID and physical diagnoses are invited to experience hands-on workshops led by professional artists and arts educators that have experience working with children with special needs. During their sessions the students will be given the opportunity to express themselves through dance, drama, music, storytelling, and visual arts! Ken Whiteley will run the music sessions, and during the lunch hour students will participate in interactive drumming with Cameroon percussionist Njacko Backo. Please come and join us for this very special day that fosters student creativity and provides responsive experiences for our special needs learners!
